For example, Buchler’s delivered a report named “Preoperative Laparoscopy” in APC in 1996, and he is currently the chairman of European Pancreatic Surgery.

The open and free “club” spirit of APC is also reflected as the fact that it not only emphasizes the importance of authority, but it also listens to the voices of more pancreatic surgeons, offering opportunities and a platform for more doctors to display and communicate. As a small meeting with only 200 participants and lasted only two days in only one venue, a total of 54 keynote lectures, 20 poster tours and 194 poster displays were arranged.
