In the afternoon of June 17, the awarding ceremony of Pancreas Research Institute and Pancreatic Diseases Key Laboratory of Nanjing Medical University was held in Suiyue Pavilion of Wutaishan Campus of Nanjing Medical University.
President Shen Hongbing of Nanjing Medical University and Director Zhao Jun of the First Affiliated Hospital with Nanjing Medical University attended the ceremony. The Director Professor Miao Yi from the First Affiliated Hospital with Nanjing Medical University, the Deputy Director Professor Gao Wentao from the First Affiliated Hospital with Nanjing Medical University, the Deputy Director Professor Zhou Jianwei from Public Health School of Nanjing Medical University, the Deputy Director Zhang Xiaofeng from Hangzhou First People's Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University, the Deputy Director Professor Jin Guangfu from Public Health School of Nanjing Medical University and other five PIs including Professor Jiang Kuirong, Professor Zhang Guoxin, Professor Fan Zhining, Professor Gao Bin and Professor Yu Chunzhao were also present.
The Director Professor Miao Yi introduced the current research progress and future prospects of the Pancreas Research Institute, and also announced the candidates for the Academic Committee Members, Director, Deputy Directors and PIs. Later, President Shen Hongbing personally awarded the bronze medal for Pancreas Research Institute to Professor Miao Yi.
