A total of 501 pancreatic operations of various sorts were performed in the Pancreas Center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University from January to June 2014. There are 243 cases of pancreaticoduodenectomy (PPPD/PD), 90 cases of distal pancreatectomy (DP) (including 23 DP cases without removing the spleen), 25 cases of middle segment pancreatectomy, 6 cases of total pancreatectomy (TP), 18 cases of partial pancreatectomy, 11 cases of duodenum preserving pancreatic head resection (DPPHR) and 44 cases of combined multiple organs / vessels resection.

    A total of 238 cases of pancreatic carcinoma were diagnosed and treated in the Center in 2014, including 170 cases of pancreatectomy, and the success rate is as high as 71.43%; 117 cases of PPPD/PD (61 cases of PD, and 56 cases of PPPD), 46 cases of DP, 3 cases of MP, 3 cases of TP, and 68 cases of other internal drainage operations.

    A total of 74 cases of benign tumors of / borderline malignant tumors of pancreas, including 16 cases of intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm (IPMN), 13 cases of solid pseudopapillary tumor, 28 cases of serous cystadenoma (SCN), 14 cases of mucinous cystadenoma (MCN), 3 cases of pancreatic epithelium / mesothelial cyst. A total of 27 cases of pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNET), including 12 cases of G1-phase, 12 cases of G2-phase, and 3 cases of G3-phase.
