The Seventh Pancreatic Surgery Conference of Jiangsu Province, sponsored by Surgery Department of Pancreas Center of Jiangsu Province Hospital, was successfully held in Yangzhou from November 29, 2013 to December 1, 2013. A total of 450 Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgery experts and scholars from all over the country attended the conference.

     The experts and scholars have conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics like new pancreatic surgery techniques, the application of laparoscope and robots in pancreatic surgeries, rare pancreatic diseases and surgical treatment of pancreatitis. During the Conference, domestic and international renowned experts delivered keynote addresses, conveyed the latest research progress, academic information and scientific innovations to the participants, and shared the research results and clinical experience and lessons of pancreatic surgery with domestic and international peers. Several difficult live pancreatic surgeries were also rebroadcasted on the Conference, fully displaying the fruitful results achieved by Pancreas Surgery Department of Jiangsu Province in recent years in terms of innovation of pancreatic surgery techniques, and leaving a deep impression on the participants.

    After three days of heated academic exchanges, the Conference lasted for three days and came to a successful end. The attending surgical experts highly commented on the Conference and fully recognized the reception work of the Organizing Committee.
