As a multi-department joint platform integrating medical treatment, teaching and research, our Center is dedicated to the integration of multi-disciplinary advantages to fully enhance our diagnosis, treatment and scientific research of pancreatic diseases in our Hospital. Currently, our clinical work focuses on the optimization of diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic diseases and the establishment and strict implementation of diagnosis and treatment regulations for pancreatic diseases through the coordination operations of the platform. It aims to achieve the early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer, enhance the prognosis of pancreatic cancer, improve the living quality of patients with pancreatic diseases and reduce the treatment expenses through three years of efforts based on the surgery-centered multidisciplinary treatment. The survival rate of patients with serious pancreatitis can be increased through ICU and surgical treatment. Relying on Pancreatic Research Institute, our Center will increase the basic research on pancreatic cancer and pancreatitis, establish a systematic collection and storage system of pancreatic tumor specimens through research funds from multiple sources, carry out the development and research of pancreatic cancer vaccines as well as the research on nerve transfer mechanism of pancreatic cancer, striving to achieve a breakthrough.
